One of the minor inconveniences of using a wireless keyboard is if you haven’t used it in a while, chances are it’s out of battery. The Flyshark 2 wireless keyboard aims to do away with this annoyance by having a one year standby battery life, a most impressive feat if it turns out to be true. I say that because the Flyshark 2 is currently a Kickstarter project seeking funding to mass produce their wireless keyboard with each keyboard starting at $46 USD. The keyboard itself folds up in half to become portable and has a classy exterior that could easily be mistaken for something like a make-up mirror.
The Flyshark 2 employs the use of Bluetooth 4.2 for even lower energy usage than most other Bluetooth accessories, but even if you have an older version of Android that can’t take advantage of this, there is a version of the Flyshark 2 that uses Bluetooth 3.0 instead, but obviously won’t have the same battery life as the Bluetooth 4.2 version.
