UPDATE: The Motorola Charm Gets Priced

The Motorola Charm offers something a little different than the full touch devices we’ve seen come out lately. This device is obviously aimed at the younger, social networking crowd, as we’ve seen this device in T-Mobile’s “Back to School” promotion, until the Motorola Charm was pushed back due to battery issues. We recently reported that the Motorola Charm showed up on Best Buy’s online mobile store priced at $249.99. The image above shows the Motorola Charm listed for $189 with a new 2-yr service agreement and after the mail-in rebate. Seems like a bit much considering that the top devices are selling for just $10 more. If you are considering grabbing this device off contract, the price is $309.99.

I don’t know about you, but I’d pay the extra $10 for the Samsung Vibrant.

*UPDATE*

TheDroidGuy has posted this image with news from their T-Mobile source that the Motorola Charm will become available on Aug. 24th or 25th. He has also confirmed that three different T-Mobile locations have the Charm priced at $114.99 on a two year contract. For more information head over to TheDroidGuy.
