The Motorola Droid X Gets Overclocked

Thanks to a dedicated member of the Android community, an overclock method for the Droid X has been found. Much like the Motorola Milestone, an injectible kernel has been created allowing the processor for the Motorola Droid X to be overclocked to approximately 1.15GHz. The Motorola Droid X is already running a 1GHz processor out of the gate, so as this .15GHz gain might not mean anything to you, this feat has still been accomplished. Thanks to DroidForums member  Elkay, for his commitment to the Android community and for showing what members among Android can do.

Always remember, developers work hard for the community not themselves, so make sure you donate what you can.
