Those of you who are dying for some indication of how much the newly announced Sony Xperia Z1 will be and when you can expect to buy it, in Australia at least, will be happy to know that Sony has confirmed the pricing to CNET Australia. Sony says that the Xperia Z1 can be purchased from the Sony online store for $779 AUD and will be available for preorder as early as the 9th of September.
Don’t want to buy it outright? Virgin Mobile is offering the Sony flagship for $0 on their $60 plan (minimum cost $1440 on a two year plan) and can be preordered from the 6th of September, and Optus is planning to open up preorders on September 16th though no pricing has been named yet.
