The Walking Dead: Road to Survival is the latest game to immerse you in a zombie’s world

Sometimes I honestly wonder whether Robert Kirkman knew that when he created The Walking Dead, he was creating a world that would be one of the most recognizable in the modern entertainment age. The latest to take advantage of Kirkman’s post-apocalyptic zombie-filled world is The Walking Dead: Road to Survival, a new mobile game on Android and iOS that takes a slightly different route than previous The Walking Dead games on mobile. In Road to Survival, you’ll have ample situations to take on zombies with a team that you have assembled as well as built up defenses at a home base that you have established. Amongst all this, you’ll also have to make tough decisions that people familiar with The Walking Dead series will know all too well.

If you’re a fan of the TV show, you’ll be happy to know that characters from the show will be prevalent in the game itself including Rick, Michonne and the Governor as you try to survive the horrors of Road to Survival. Published by Scopely, Road to Survival operates on a free-to-play model which includes in-app purchases, though we’ll give the game the benefit of the doubt for now.
