What is an Android ROM without customizations? Well it is a unicorn without the horn! One feature I loved (as well as the community) about CM7 was a little app called Theme Chooser. It gave us Android dreamers the ability to theme our beloved phones to our liking. The fact that we could not enjoy Honeycomb on our non-tablets did not mean that we could not enjoy the color schemes. I decorated my G2 with the Honeycomb CM7 theme and all felt right in my Android world. Well looks like they will be bringing back Theme Chooser for CM9, but I am sure none of you are surprised to hear this news.
The video below showed up on the net today, simply showing of the Theme Chooser app on a CM9 ROM. The user picks the beautiful Androidian theme and that is about it. When I first saw the video pop up on G+, I was not really at all that shocked that they would incorporate Theme Chooser in CM9. Though many of us running on CM7 would always try to find that dare-to-be great Ice Cream Sandwich theme to make our non-ICS device an ICS device. Since CM9 is stock ICS, some may not want to utilize it, but those others that get bored quickly will enjoy as they did before. So will you guys utilize Theme Chooser when you get CM9?
