They had a pretty clever intro of old records and tapes. Here goes as much info as I can write and listen too. As soon as the video is available to watch we will get it posted and focus on a few key points soon.

In May they launched Google Music beta. We all know about that and how successful that was. On average users streamed 2.5 hours a day. They have delivered over 100 million free songs through Magnifier.

From May at 100 Million devices, to today, we are now at 200 million. We are adding 500,000 new activations daily.

Starting today the Google Music beta service will be free for all U.S. residence with no invitation needed. No fees to be added to the service. They are going to keep the cloud service free.

The new market now will include a music section. They have focused on a few main ideas. Still offering staff picks and a familiar market layout. The market will also analyze your music you already have and make suggestions in the market that you might like too. This is not based solely on the music you have already purchased but all the music you have.

In the store, you get a 90 second preview of the song and all the files are in 320kbs MP3 format. You can directly share your music selections from the market to your Google+ account.

You can now shop for music via the web based market as well. All purchases will download and go directly to your Google Music account. Everyday there will be a free song to get. There will also be many songs for free all the time and there will be a featured artist of the week every week. There will even be interviews with musicians available to watch right on your PC through the market.

You will be able to recommend and share any track you just purchased to Google+. Your friends will then be able to listen to the entire song, no time limit, one time through and be able to go buy the track right from your post. You can also share an entire album with your Google+ friends and they can listen to that entire album for free one time.
