Google has just updated their Google Sky Map application to version 1.6 bringing two new features to this star-gazing application and educative Android application. Available for free in the Android Market, Google Sky Map now features the following:
- Time Travel: Travel through time to view the sky as it looked in the past or as it will in the future. You can also speed up time to watch events like eclipses and conjunctions.
- Multi-Touch: easily zoom in & out or rotate the display using just two fingers on devices that support multi-touch input.
