Tired of hunting for Tablet-centric Android apps? Give Tablet Market a Try!

Tablet Market

Tablet owners, I’m sure you can all agree — Google Play isn’t always the friendliest of places when you’re hunting for an app that will play nice with your Android tablet. Sure, there’s staff recommendations and featured apps for tablets, but they’re not always the greatest, and there’s a ton of other options available, just waiting to be discovered.

If you’re tired of digging for hours, only to find that app you want doesn’t work well on your tablet, you might want to give Tablet Market a try. The idea behind the app is very simple. It filters out apps from Google Play that are specifically designed for Honeycomb and Ice Cream Sandwich tablets. The app finds both free and paid apps located on Google Play and links you directly to them. This means there’s no 3rd party app distributor and a lot less of a chance of picking up malware or an unwanted virus. It also means you don’t have to dig through countless search results trying numerous apps, only to find out they just don’t work.

The app has a section for new releases and tablet-specific sections for tools, entertainment, games, news and weather, widgets and more. I’ve actually found the app quite useful already, as it pointed out a widget for my TF101 that displays the battery level of both the tablet and my dock — something I had been searching for ever since I bought my dock. The app is also regularly updated, so you won’t miss out on any hot apps that drop on Google Play.

The download size is relatively small — 7mb is all that stands between you and a better way to discover new apps for your Android tablet. That’s right, the app is also absolutely free. Kick bricks over to Google Play for the download using the QR code below. You’ll be glad you did.
