Remember the photo in which the HTC Desire appeared in the U.S.Cellular rebate form and the release date was not specified, but the form said “Customers much purchase their phones between April 16th to July 15th”. Well, April 15th has passed and still no sign of the phone. It’s expected to hit U.S.Cellular during the Summer.
U.S.Cellular did make the following statement:
” The worst kept secret in online history! HTC Desire with Android from U.S. Cellular, coming this summer after our rigorous testing is complete. Now have fun guessing which other Android phone we’ll launch.”
These words are taken directly from the Official U.S.Cellular page on Facebook. One thing is clear and that is; U.S.Cellular is getting the Desire. That’s good news at least.
