UK could see Kindle Fire launch in January

In an attempt to take the affordable Kindle Fire tablet global, an Amazon rep has told Know Your Mobile that they plan to launch the tablet to the UK sometime in January. We know the tablet has sold extremely well here in the states and with devs already on it and making it better, it could shape up to be a big success overseas too. They didn’t give any specific dates, pricing or availability yet, but that info should be announced as a release date approaches. Beyond the obvious, the only other question left will be how much of the Amazon market system and media options will become available at the launch. It should be good for all parties involved.
