Update available for Google Voice, adds offline VM and Group Messaging

When Google Voice first came out many people clamored to get an invite and get started with it. Shortly there after that, many people lost interest. It was nice to have a second number available, the visual voicemail and be able to make calls via WiFi, but it just didn’t take off the way one would have expected. It has been slowly getting better and better over time.

The recent update moves it to version 0.4.2.38 and brings with it some new additions that might make you happy. You can now send a message to multiple recipients at one time. I know this is one feature that many people have long been waiting for. It can be rather annoying to send the same message to multiple people one at a time.

The new offline voicemail feature will pre-fetch your saved messages and cache them to your device to play back later when a connection might not be possible.

Head into your apps section to update the app but, if you don’t already have it we recommend you give it a try. You can click or scan the QR code below to get yourself started.
