Update brings themes and soon cloud back up to ASTRO File Manager

ASTRO File Manager is a name that I think will be forever ingrained in Android users minds. If memory serves me correctly, it was the first file management apps to land on the market way back in the G1 days. With 19 million downloads and counting, it is easily the lead file manager app around. It works and it works well. I am sure nearly all of you reading this right now have the app installed already or did at one time. With such a huge following it is easy for a dev to just sit back and kick it. All great devs of any app that is especially popular knows better than to do that though.

The most recent update moves it to version 3.1 and brings in a slew of new stuff. There is now an added theme functionality so you can make the app and folders look how you want it to so it goes with your device theme. It also has a sign-up for pre-registration for the upcoming cloud back up service. It also brings with it Honeycomb support, drag and drop capabilities and tablet users can now set the external SD and USB directories.

If you currently have ASTRO installed, we suggest you pop to your apps and make the update. Be sure to sign up for the pre-registration for the cloud service to. If you haven’t installed it yet and want to give it a try, you can find click or scan the QR code below to get you hands on the most recent version.
