Update for the B&N NOOK Color now available, keeping pace with the NOOK Tablet

Barnes & Noble may have just released the NOOK Tablet not so long ago, but that doesn’t mean they are going to scrap the NOOK Color. That is great news really, since it would seem many other devices and manufacturers let last years model fade into the distance. Since I am sure many of you didn’t run out and buy the NOOK Tablet you will be pleased to know that your current NOOK Color has a nice update waiting for you. It bring s in many of the features the new device has to your current model.

The most exciting aspects of the update is the incorporation of Netflix. A much-loved app by all Android users. It will also be sporting Flixter, Nook Comics and PagePerfect Nook Books. They have also made numerous enhancements such as reading in landscape and portrait mode, direct look-up of words in the dictionary and increased the font size selection.

The update moves your device to version 1.4.1. I am certain any of you that have your hacked will want to skip the update, since you already have the best of everything.
