Update rolling out to International Galaxy S III, includes stability and minor Improvements

Updates in software and solutions for common problems, bugs and annoyances should always be at the top of a manufacturer’s list of things to do. Sure, the next greatest OS update should be right along side it, some of us would much rather have the device in perfect working order too. With Samsung leading the pack in smartphones at the moment, they need to focus on not only getting more units shipped, but also making them work as perfectly as possible. There is currently a software update hitting those lucky international users of the Galaxy S III that brings some changes.

The update is reportedly weighing in at 72MB’s with the usual lack of change log with a simple “improve stability” in its place. People are reporting a few various thing though that are nice to hear. There is apparently a new toggle in the notification drawer to adjust the brightness easier, better audio options, more toggles in the power menu and a fix in place for AccuWeather. Can’t be all bad, can it.

The update is rolling out via OTA currently for the International Galaxy S III devices, the quad-core versions. It could take a bit of time for all of them to get the update and possibly longer for those using unlocked versions around the globe. Let us know if you see any other noticeable differences.
