Update rolling out to Sprint’s Galaxy Nexus to solve data Problems

It is never a good thing to snag a new device that you have been waiting to get your hands on, only to find out there is an issue with it. It doesn’t really matter what the issue is, terrible battery drain, glitchy software, or in this case poor data connectivity. That was the report from many new owners of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus on Sprint‘s network. Luckily, Sprint is on the ball and put their team to work to solve the issue. As of today, there is an update rolling out that should hit all devices on the network within the next 2 days. Soon your problems should be over.

To make sure your update comes through without a hitch you will want to have a good charge on your device, well over 50%. You will also want to be connected to Wi-Fi to get the update if you are suffering from no data connection on your device through the network. Everyone else who’s device is working properly, you won’t need to worry about Wi-Fi connections. None of this should be new to any long term Android users. If patience isn’t your strong suit, you can always try to ping for the update through the Settings > About Phone> System Updates > Check Now. There is no guarantee that it will pop up, but never hurts to try. Along with the data issue fix there is also and update to Google Wallet included.
