All those proud owners of the
ASUS Transformer Prime should be smiling again. Many of us are jealous that you have one, let alone that you have Ice Cream Sandwich. It hasn’t all been daisy’s and sunshine though. Many of you have been having issues with random reboots and app stability issues. One thing that ASUS is great at though, is fixing issues in a timely manner. Less than a month after the initial update, ASUS is dropping another one to your tablet to squash those issues. The update has a new kernel an updated Wi-Fi version 6.1.1.18 and kicks the Bluetooth version up a notch to 9.26. It moves the power house tablet to build IML74K.US_epad-9.4.2.13-20120203
.
Reports are coming in that the update also unroots the tablet. One member stated that Voodoo Rootkeeper restored it with out issue though. You may want to check into that before proceeding with the update. To keep up with the running conversation about the update head over to the XDA thread.
