User Submitted App Review: Solitaire by Ken Magic

Often times we get requests to review applications or games from various developers. Very rarely, with the exception of a contest, do we get user submitted reviews. One of the requests in my gPad contest was for just that sort of thing. Today I received an email from a loyal follower, Hank. Take a look at what he has to say about this classic game on Android.

Solitaire by Ken Magic, is a free game that is also ad free. The game offers you multiple variations on the original classic. You of course have the original Solitaire with the addition of Spider, Freecell, and Forty Thieves. In the options menu you can make minimal but needed changes such as large or small card art, Vegas or regular style play and how many cards are dealt at a time.

This game is a must have if your into Solitaire or card games in general. I play this game at least three to five times a day. It’s quick to load up and quick to get to playing. The biggest thing I have liked about it, is you don’t have an ad popping up into your screen while you play. This has to be the nicest looking and smoothest running Solitaire game I have played to date.

If I could change one thing about it, I would add a button that allows you to start a new game of what your currently playing. As it stands right now, you need to select the game you want to start. Not really a big deal, just sort of a minor annoyance to me. It does offer a replay button, which allows you to play the same deal you had currently lost on.

Thanks for your thoughts on this app Hank! We are all part of the same wonderful Android Community. If anyone else feels like writing up a review on anything, please don’t hesitate to send me an email. I can be reached at stormybeach@androidstory.com. I can’t always promise it will make the site, But if you put the time into it, I will do my best.
