FINALLY! We have our date for our first phone running that tasty Ice Cream Sandwich, kind of. Steve Kovach of Business Insider has confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy Nexus will launch next month. Do you guys believe it? Google said they were going to release it this month, but this month is quickly winding down with no signs of release.
We’ve also heard that Verizon has had some difficulties reaching final software certification. So I guess changing the name from “Galaxy Nexus” to “Nexus Prime” did not solve that problem. I am sure once they get the kinks worked out they will notify us and we will be overcome with happiness. The last rumored date that has been floating around was December 8th for the release, so now that just might be true.
You got to love all the rumors and little news flashes we get concerning new phones. We are all little fanboys when it comes the newest super phones that will be making their ways into our hands. So what do you guys think? Do you think we will be seeing the Galaxy Nexus in the wild on December 8th? I was thinking Black Friday was going to be the day, but I guess we will see what happens.
