Sorry Incredible owners! We regret to inform you that you will not be enjoying delicious Froyo today. As previous rumors pointed to the HTC Droid Incredible receiving Android 2.2 today, Verizon did not give us any new information about the update, just that it isn’t coming today.
HTC devices like the HTC Evo 4G and the unbranded HTC Desire have already started receiving the firmware upgrade so we know the update is no longer in the hands of HTC. It is now up to Verizon to make their necessary changes and push the update to the Incredible. This was just a rumor to begin with and we all know how rumors go.
