It seems the Galaxy tab for Verizon users just a got a bit better, with an update rolling out, as promised, which will grant fixes and enhancements. The update seeks to optimize messaging and battery life and it relatively small 34.6MB, meaning download and install should be quick and, pending a reboot, have you back on your Tab surfing the web in no time.  If you get the notification and decide to give it a go let us know the results. =)
