In between all the Google Nexus news, Rovio wanted to cut in on the action. Angry Birds Star Wars is a week away from being released, and today, Rovio decided to show first hand footage of the game that takes place in a galaxy far, far away.
In the video below, you get the beloved red angry bird, who inhabits the character of Luke Skywalker, trying to impress the Princess Leia bird. With some goofy light saber choreography, Leia is not impressed. When then get a look at the gameplay and I must say, die-hard Star Wars fanboys will get a kick out of this version of the game. To be able to use a light saber to slice through the piggy structures, and to also use lasers, looks like it is going to be an addicting good time.
