[Video] First full Tegra 3 game shows up in Tegra Zone; DaVinci THD Brings online FPS to Android in a big Way

Not to be confused with the Tom Hanks thriller DaVinci Code, this game is set in the Renaissance period. It is the world first look and available game designed specifically around the new Tegra 3 processor. Which means it has a limited audience with the only device available (tomorrow) the Transformer Prime. That doesn’t detour its pure awesomeness though.

The game offers an in depth FPS style of game play. DaVanci is so much more though. The visuals are stunning with dynamic lighting and gamma correction all built on the Unreal Engine 3. Not only can you interact with characters, but you can also interact with objects in the game. Giving a real console quality gaming experience. To make it even better, instead of your typical Online game play running death match styles, DaVinci offers you the ability to group up with your friends to go after bosses and complete quests. The gamers out in the world probably now it better as PvE instead of just PvP. Which is still a little beyond me.

The game is listed in the Tegra Zone, but not available till January of 2012. No word yet on if the keyboard on the Prime will be utilized or if mouse functionality will be added or available either. If they do include all the extras one would expect to use on a PC, this could easily be the coolest game ever released.

DaVinci THD is a shooting game built on the Unreal 3 Mobile Engine and is based on Renaissance period. Developed specifically for the NVIDIA® Tegra 3™ chip, this face-paced shooter incorporates complex geometric environments, high-resolution textures, realistic dynamic lighting effects and real-time physics simulations.

After Leonard DaVinci’s death, heroes of Renaissance started to fight a battle for capturing ‘DaVinci machine’ which DaVinci designed. Using the heroes’ powerful weapons with various DaVinci’s inventions motif, you will experience thrilling action shooting.

Features:

  • Designed specifically for devices using NVIDIA® Tegra 3â„¢, quad-core mobile superchip
  • Dynamic character lighting and gamma correction for more realistic light calculations
  • Interaction of scene objects using advanced physics simulations

“DaVinci THD will leverage Tegra 3 for its multi-threading capabilities, so we can scale across all four CPU cores and deliver the ultimate console-quality performance.”
