[Video] Gameloft Teases Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation, Set to Hit Android this Fall

There is nothing like sitting down, grabbing your device, and saving the world! The Modern Combat series has always been an extremely popular title across nearly every gaming platform that exists. I think I have played and completed most of them. They are always action packed with decent story lines. Offering a wide range of weapons and tactics to complete your missions. Nothing sneaking up behind a guy and stabbing him in the neck.

If you have been impatiently waiting for another release to this series, your wait is almost over. Gameloft has a new release headed to Android this fall. That is a pretty big window for release but they are usually pretty good about getting games out regularly. Taking a look at the teaser trailer, it looks like it will be well worth the wait –

Key features of Modern Combat 3 include:

An intense 13-mission campaign with immersive cinematics and memorable moments.
A frantic multiplayer with up to 12 players, 6 maps and 6 different modes.
An addictive ranking system with more than 90 experience ranks.
High-tech modern weaponry with modifications and attachments.
Next-gen high quality visuals that will compete with the RAGE and UNREAL engines.

It looks really amazing. The only information that isn’t known just yet, is device requirements. I can only hope that the Galaxy S II will make the cut. It is highly probable that this game may only be available to the upcoming Tegra 3 Kal-El quad-core devices. We won’t know for a few more months, but you can be sure we will get our hands on this game for a review as soon as we can.

In other Gameloft news, the second installment of Modern Combat: Black Pegasus, is on sale for $0.99 for a limited time. You might just want to head over to Gamelofts site and snag it while it is so cheap.
