You knew it was bound to happen. In the mobile world, picking the right OS can be pretty easy. You want something simple, iOS. You want something a little more complex, but customizable to fit your personality, Android. Yeah, there is those other ones, but we all know those two are the dominate forces in todays mobile OS world. Looks like an old friend is going to make it’s way into this world now, and you got to wonder if it will make any kind of a dent.

Ubuntu is ringing in the new year with the announcement of their beloved OS hitting mobile. Ubuntu has pretty much had a cult following when comes to desktop. I know a lot of developers love to use it, but I myself never really took the time to learn about it. If you are like me, and have not taken the time to see what it is all about, there is a treat for you. Today a keynote was uploaded to YouTube introducing Ubuntu’s new OS. Lots of features to look at, and it is a pretty sexy OS. Will it make its mark in the mobile world? Most likely not. With that though, the new video is creating quite a buzz on the interwebs, so check it out below and let us know what you guys think.
