Paul O’Brien over at MoDaCo has created an application that gives T-Mobile G2 users a one-click method to the temp root process to hold us over until permanent root comes. With the latest version of this application, Paul gives the user two options.
You can either download the manual one-click method that does exactly what it says or you can grab the run on boot application where every time you boot your device, you’ll have root. Paul recommends that first-timers try the manual application first and then move on to the run on boot application. Now that the T-Mobile G2 kernel source is out, hopefully we’ll see permanent root soon and won’t need this application, but be sure and tell Paul thanks for this one-click method that’s holding us over.
