Last week Vodafone announced that they’ll begin pushing out Froyo to the HTC Desire beginning August 23rd and that the roll out will take approximately two weeks to cover everyone. Just as promised, the 2.2 OTA has officially began rolling out. Their initial announcement of the Android 2.2 came when many upset Desire owners received an update full of Vodafone’s 360 bloatware. Vodafone responded saying that with the Android 2.2 update, the Vodafone 360 bloatware will be removed. This is coming as great news for some of you Desire owners who have been waiting for the bloatware removal.
