What an incredible day

If you’re Verizon or HTC, you have good reason to be smiling. The day of launch, Droid Incredible sells out at Verizon’s online store. Add that to the buzz of Verizon’s new commercial, and it looks like we might have a device that will be more popular than the original Droid.  T-Mobile is going to have to really step up their game soon if they want to stay competitive with Android devices.

For HTC, Android popularity means a whopping 50% increase in shipments over the next three months, and projected sales for 4.5 million devices bringing in a revenue of around 1.6 billion USD. To put this in perspective, Q1 HTC sold 3.3 million units. They are aiming high, and with the release of Desire, Legend,  Incredible, and the soon to be released Evo,  I don’t doubt they will succeed.
