MWC 2015 has kicked off in typical style with bucketloads of new tech being thrown at us from all directions. But above it all is the narrative that defines every MWC in recent memory, the battle between Samsung and HTC. Both manufacturers released their flagship devices today, the Samsung Galaxy S6 and HTC One M9, both making impressive showings of innovation and design. But of course, what we all really want to know is which one you prefer:Â HTC One M9 or Samsung Galaxy S6?

The HTC One M9 is decidedly the more conservative option, sporting an extremely familiar design, but hiding the standard hardware upgrades, including a Snapdragon 810, 3GB RAM, 32GB, a microSD (!), and a 20MP camera. There’s nothing groundbreaking or particularly gimmicky about the M9, which could work in HTC’s favour this time around and it seems to have made improvements in all the right areas this yearly cycle.
The Samsung Galaxy S6, on the other hand, has completely subverted Samsung’s standard subdued design with something that is more than a little reminiscent of the iPhones. Essentially a make-or-break device with profits tumbling with every passing month, Samsung has gone all out with the Galaxy S6, making the battery non-removable, eliminating the microSD slot, and making the entire device just 6.8mm thick. This internals are equally impressive, with a Snapdragon 810, 3GB RAM, up to 128GB storage, and a 16MP camera.
So which would you choose?
