Many of you have YouTube accounts, some of you might not even know you do. It is all linked to you via your Google GMail. You still need to go ‘sign up’ to enjoy the service and be able to upload the videos you take of the world around you. Set up is simple and only takes a few moments. The end result is a quick and simple way to share videos online. One of the common misconceptions that I feel people are fearful of, is letting the world see their kids, or family or house or what ever. You do have the ability to set the video to private and only allow access to the people you give the link too. Just thought I’d toss that out there for the non users of YouTube.
For the rest of you out there that may have just started using the service, YouTube has made a few enhancements recently. They have finally lifted the time limit ban on videos from 15 minutes to unlimited for all users. They have also included a new video tool that allows you to transform your standard video into a 3D video. The tool is still very new and may have a few hiccups here and there, so don’t expect it to be perfect every time. It is still a nice addition now that 3D tv’s and 3D phones are starting to gain ground.
I have had the 15 minute limit lifted for quite some time, but you should be able to activate it through your ‘Account’. According to the source, you need to verify the account via text message sent to your phone. Happy uploading guys.
