YouTube updates, makes life better for Gingerbread and Froyo users plus other new Stuff

Looks like Google put out an update to their YouTube app in the Play Store today. Offering up some much-needed help to users of devices below Ice Cream Sandwich. The update that was released today offers up Gingerbread and Froyo users the ability to enable preloading of videos. That helps load the video to your devices memory so it plays smooth rather than jittery because of your data connection, or device. They have also done a little UI refresh for you guys as well.

They have also made a few changes that will be seen across all devices. There is a new Watch experience. You can now add videos to your YouTube TV queue and more channels have been added to the Channel Store. It all looks pretty good really. Take a look at a few screensshots.

If you are a YouTube junkie, like David Pena is, then you might want to go pick up the update in the Play Store. If you uninstalled it and want to get it back, feel free to click or scan the QR code below to pick it up.
