ZTE has offically announced the latest smartphone in the Axon series, the Axon 7. The Axon 7 comes with 5.5-inch QHD 2.5D curved AMOLED display and a 2.15GHz Snapdragon 820 processor. The 4GB RAM variant of this phone ships with 64GB of storage, while the higher-end model with 6GB RAM comes with 128GB of onboard storage.
The Axon 7 is designed for people who enjoy a smart lifestyle enhanced by technology, focusing on what matters most. It has a fingerprint sensor on the back, dual stereo speakers, and Dolby Atmos sound for the best sound quality through headphones. The 20-megapixel primary camera is equipped with ƒ/1.8 aperture, OIS, and phase-detection autofocus. The front-facing camera has a resolution of 8 megapixels and an aperture of ƒ/2.2.
It has hybrid dual-SIM card slot lets you use the second SIM card slot for storage expansion when required. It comes with 3,250 mAh non-removable battery which is Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging compliant. The Type-C USB port is placed on the bottom of the Axon 7, and there are two SIM card slots.
The ZTE Axon 7 comes in Ion Gold and Quartz Gray, and is priced at CNY 2,899 ($442) for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant, CNY 3,299 ($502) for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, and CNY 4,099 ($625) for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The device was leaked a couple of times earlier this year and was certified by TENAA few days back.
