Finally we have some words from Sony Ericsson. Sony Ericsson has posted on their official product blog that the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 series (Xperia X10, Xperia X10 Mini and Xperia X10 Mini Pro) will receive the Android 2.1 in Q4 2010. What is going on? Why it’s taking too much time. These days, the news is hot that Android 2.2 is in the making. Google will unveil it this Summer during the Google I/O Show, and if Google announce the Froyo, then i don’t think the SE will launch the Eclair. May be SE is working on Froyo behind the scenes. Well, It’s just a guess.
The upgrade will come with these features:
- Upgrade to Android OS version 2.1
- HD video recording as per the same execution as Sony Ericsson Vivazâ„¢
- Wireless home connectivity via DLNA
- Improvements to signature applications Timescapeâ„¢ and Mediascape to make them even smarter and richer
That’s all we know folks. Stay tuned with us for more!
