This will probably be good news for HTC One owners expecting the Android 4.2.2 update on their phones: HTC Rom developer, @LlabTooFer, just tweeted that the Chinese M7C_DUG (i.e. the Chinese variant of the HTC One) is starting to receive the Android 4.2.2 update.
LlabTooFer adds that Android 4.2.2 should be hitting the M7 (that’s the HTC One remember?) today. The picture posted in the tweet, which you can see above, looks about right for the update at 175.25MB and clearly emblazoned with “Android 4.2.2 update”.
If the Chinese version of the HTC One is receiving its update, then the rest of the world should be following very closely behind it. If anyone starts to receive it, let us know! We’d love to hear from you in the comments.
