Google announces Databoard for Research Insights

Databoard

Working with data and consumer insights can be mundane and difficult to analyze. Google hopes to make the process easier to manage, with the addition of Google Databoard.

Google Databoard compiles research based on mobile behavior. Topics range from consumer opinions on products to detailed demographics about mobile usage.

You can build your Databoard by selecting a study of interest, choosing specific information and, to finish up, save and share your data. You can collect data from an “entire study or jump straight to the topics or data points,” using a computer, tablet or smartphone.

With an emphasis on data sharing, Databoard also makes it easy to “share individual charts and insights or collections of data with anyone through email or social networks.” Each chart or collection of data has a share icon near the top of each page.

Research studies used in Databoard include The New Multi-screen World, Mobile In-store shopper research and Mobile search moments, with new studies being continually added. To check Databoard out for yourself, click here.
