Today is a pretty great launch day for devices. Especially for AT&T. They have just launched three new Android devices for the public to consume. Of course we are excluding the Moto X because, well, it is a planet all of its own. What a great day for
AT&T customers. Here is the skinny of what has just come out.
HTC One Mini
The little brother of the famed HTC One, the
HTC One Mini, is finally available for fans of the device seeking a smaller version that is a bit more pocket friendly. Price tag on a new contract is $99.99 while full price is $429.99. The HTC One Mini sports a Qualcomm 400 dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 4.3-inch Super LCD 2 display at 720p resolution, the 4MP Ultrapixel camera and 16GB of onboard storage. It pushes Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and is powered by a 1800mAh battery. It keeps many of the same HTC One features like BlinkFeed and the amazing audio of the front facing BoomSound speakers.
LG Optimus G Pro
The
LG Optimus G Pro heads the other direction in terms of size, but not price. This big boy is sitting at $99,99 on a new 2-year contract with a full retail price of $439.99. The Optimus G Pro is a sporting a 5.5-inch phablet sized IPS display with a 1080p resolution. Pushing the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS to the screen is a 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor. Keeping things running smooth with 2GB of RAM, 32GB of onboard storage with SD card slot and is powered with a 3,140mAh battery. On the camera front you are getting 13MP’s of awesomeness. It certainly has a Note 2 look to it and LG hasn’t always been super amazing with updating devices. For the price though, if a high-end camera and a super large clear screen are your desires then the Optimus G Pro could be a great choice for that tiny price tag.
Samsung Galaxy MegaÂ
Last, but certainly not least, is the behemoth
Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3. Pulling down a price tag of $149.99 on contract and $479.99 off contract. The 6.3 refers to the 6.3-inch 720p LCD screen. Oddly enough it only packs inside a  1.7 GHz Qualcomm MSM8930 Pro dual-core processor and 1.5GB of RAM. Onboard storage is 16GB and it does offer a micro SD card slot as well. You will only get a 8MP camera on this monster but it does pack in a 3,200 mAh battery and has some Android 4.2 Jelly Bean love for you. With a screen that large one would thing the resolution would have been bumped to more of the standard 1080p resolution, but I suppose with the dual-core processor and the 1.5GB or RAM, pushing things up any more on a device this size would have bumped up the price. I am not to sure it will be a HUGE hit, but for those looking for screen real estate, you might be pretty happy with this one.
So there you have it. Three more options for your you and your bank account to decide on. Are any of these on your list or are you holding off a bit longer for the Holiday launch device? Head over to AT&T and take a little tour of the new devices and let us know what you think.
