Another day, another Sony Honami spotting. This time, however, the Honami hasn’t been spotted in teaser media, rather its been spotted going for certifications at the Telecommunication Equipment Certification Center (TENAA) which is a lot like the Chinese version of the FCC in the U.S.
There’s nothing new to see here, only further confirmation that the Honami is indeed coming to us very soon. It’s been rumoured and mostly confirmed by various sources already, but we do see the “Xperia” name on the phone, so it seems increasingly likely that the phone will be called the Xperia Z1.
September 4th can’t come soon enough when it’s expected the Honami will be officially announced. Really the only other thing I did notice about the photos from TENAA is how smudged the back of the Honami appeared to be. The certifiers clearly couldn’t keep their hands off it, am I right? Guys?
