There’s very little that’s still secret about the Sony Xperia Z1 (or Sony Honami as many of us have continued to call it) as its been leaked to hell and back and then some. If anything though, that’s probably made us want it more, though many of us have been waiting till the announcement event at IFA 2013 tomorrow to hear a few more solid facts about the flagship Sony device.
Probably fittingly for the oft-leaked device, the press release for Sony‘s announcement event has also be leaked out giving us a look at the full specifications of the Xperia Z1. Not surprisingly, they’re right in line with what we’re expecting:
- 2.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor
- 2GB RAM
- 16GB internal storage (with expandable microSD)
- 5-inch 1920×1080 ‘Triluminous’ HD Display
- 3,000mAh battery
- 20.7 MP camera
The only real unknown is the software that will be coming with the Xperia Z1, though with any luck, that will probably be leaked out later today. And we’ll also be hoping that Sony addresses the issue of availability that many of you have raised in our discussions.
Who’s excited to see the Sony Xperia Z1 finally be officially announced? Anybody wish it were still named Honami? Let us know what you think in the comments.
