It is a rush to be the first with curved displayed phones between LG and Samsung, and after the news that LG will have their phone out next month, we get a look at what Samsung’s phone will look like. This comes from @evleaks of course, and as you can see, it definitely has a pretty distinctive curve to it. Rumors have suggested that this phone will be named the Galaxy Round, but we still do not know the official size of the display. Sources suggest a similar screen size to the Note series, so we might be seeing a 5.7-inch display.
I honestly do not see the advantage of this curved phone. Seems like it will be a little more difficult to easily slip it in and out of your pocket. I liked the curved display Samsung showed off in the image below, where you can read your notifications on the side of your device. Hopefully they will soon implement that feature to future devices.
