YouTube plans on jumping on the music service bandwagon, by launching a music service of their own, that will be free to use, but can be upgraded to a premium service for a monthly fee. The service will act similar to Spotify, but naturally since YouTube is a video service, it will have that component to add to it.
The premium version will give users the ability to stream music without ads, and give them the ability to store content offline. The free version will get you pretty much everything as well, but you will have to endure those ads you love so much, which is nothing new. Billboard reported that this service might be paired with Google Products, and Google Glass was mentioned to being one of these products. The launch date has not been mentioned yet, but once it is, we will let you guys know.
