Motorola took the wraps off the
Moto G earlier this week. The new budget friendly Android device from Motorola. For those of you who are looking towards this device you will be happy to hear that it has been confirmed now that the Moto G will ship with
Android 4.4 KitKat pre installed. At least for the second wave of devices to go out the door. The first wave will still ship with Android 4.3, but will be picking up the update to KitKat 4.4 in January.
“Wave 2, products that we ship after Christmas, will start with KitKat […] Wave 2 is in the US; there’s South East Asia, and other countries.”
If you are here in the states, it looks like you wont have anything to worry about at all. It is certainly nice to see Motorola and the rest of the manufacturers, working a little harder to get updates to their devices. Especially just released ones.
