Do you remember the Altek Leo? It’s the Android device with the massive 14MP camera introduced to us here. We are learning now that this device is in fact rocking Android 2.1 and is expected to hit hands in Q4 at a price of $499. The device boasts a 14MP camera with 3X optical zoom, as well as its high-def capabilities. The Leo made its debut at CommunicAsia 2010 and there is a video below showing off this beautiful device.
This device is expected to launch in China and Taiwan in Q4. As some of us know, Altek is known for its manufacturing of digital cameras so to see this camera technology implemented into a smartphone seems a little surreal. We’ll have to wait and see pictures taken by this device before we can give our own opinions of this 14-MP camera.
