Today, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 was finally announced after months of speculation and it is clear that it is still the undisputed king of phablet devices. Direct competitor, OnePlus, naturally thinks differently and has today put up a comparison of its OnePlus One v Samsung Galaxy Note 4. Furthermore, OnePlus is offering up one 64GB OnePlus One for someone to win as well as 100 invites up for grabs.
While OnePlus is well known for its controversial and generally ineffectual marketing campaigns, this one is probably one of their better ones (though we can’t say that’s saying much). While OnePlus’ agenda is to prove that the OnePlus One is cheaper and is a more streamlined device with more support, it unfortunately also makes a comparison of everything that is inferior about their device too. After all, why would you need to mention that the OnePlus One has a slower processor than the Note 4 and lacks a S-Pen, one of the Galaxy Note family’s most celebrated features?
In the end, we see what OnePlus was trying to achieve and is a step in the right direction, but probably still needs a little fine tuning. Still, there is a device and invites to win, so hit the source link below to enter the contest if you’re interested. What do you think about OnePlus’ latest marketing stunt?
