RETRY looks like Rovio Mobile’s latest attempt to make you destroy your mobile device

As if Flappy Bird wasn’t enough, Rovio Mobile has decided to release a new game along the same lines as the virally famous one-button game with RETRY. Assuming a similar genre of 2D side-scroller, RETRY assigns you a plane which you must nurse through a number of obstacles. Naturally, there is only one way to control your plane: hold the screen to spin your propeller, release and your plane will do a loop-de-loop. Sound infuriating? That’s exactly how I felt after just watching the trailer – check it out below:

Much like Flappy Bird, you’re likely to continue playing RETRY if only for the infuriating achievement of finishing one level only to be confronted with another equally patience testing obstacle course.
