Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will be first Samsung device with Snapdragon 810

Galaxy Note 4 will be first Samsung device with Snapdragon 810We know that Samsung has a habit of upgrading the hardware of its key devices with newer hardware – this was the case with the Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A which got the benefit of a Snapdragon 805 a few months after the S5’s release. These updated models typically accompany the release of a new mobile chipset, so it should come as no surprise to hear that the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will be the first Samsung device with a Snapdragon 810. This new Note 4 is allegedly already being tested in Korea, though it’s unknown whether the device will be available anywhere but there as has been the case in the past.

Qualcomm‘s Snapdragon 810 looks to be the evolution of the mobile processor that many have been hoping for, bringing 64-bit processing to Android devices. On the face of it, the Snapdragon 810 might not look blisteringly fast, with a typical clock speed of 2.65GHz which Android enthusiasts will notice is actually lower than the Snapdragon 805’s highest clock speed. However, thanks to having a octacore arrangement with four high powered cores and four power-saving cores, the Snapdragon 810 should be better equipped for more strenuous processing.
