Nokia N1 sold out in China again in a matter of minutes

We’ve said it once, but we’ll say it again: the Nokia N1 is a very nice device. Quite unlike Nokia‘s previous pastel smartphone offerings, the Nokia N1 is an inspired design featuring oodles of aluminium and an almost-stock interface that will have many an Android fan drooling. Unfortunately, the only hiccup is that it is only available in China right now, and after selling out 20,000 of the devices in a few minutes, the Nokia N1 sold out in China again in about the same time. This time, the number of devices wasn’t divulged, but the time it’s flying off the shelves should be pretty indicative that the device is pretty popular.

This in large part is thanks to its value for money, an almost OnePlus approach to tablets – a 64-bit Intel Atom 2.4GHz processor, 2GB RAM, 32GB storage and 7.9-inch display, all for just $257 USD. You probably want one by now, and Nokia has indicated it may eventually bring the device to Europe in the near future, and we hope even more markets after that.
