GEICO Glovebox Application Coming To Android In August

GEICO is launching their Glovebox application to the Android Market in August and bringing many features which some of you might have seen on the iPhone app. Providing these features in the mobile market make it easier for the consumer to file a claim, pay their bill, etc… We’ve already seen the Progressive app, along with State Farm’s Pocket Agent application in the Android Market and with GEICO being a top insurance company, it is only logical that they do the same.

Features of the GEICO Glovebox application include:

  • Bill Pay
  • Accident Helper
  • Roadside assistance
  • Taxi/rental car service
  • Automobile tutorials, videos, and contact information
  • Users will also be able to get a quote if they are considering GEICO insurance.

Although most of us might not get much use out of this application on a daily basis, this will definitely be helpful as certain situations arise.
