Blurry shots of the rumored and barely believed HTC Supersonic seems to have surfaced. Remember that odd screenshot showing a device with this name running Android 3.0? Well, this may be it, sort of…
Word is that it has and will have Android 2.1, not the 3.0 revealed in the screenshot. The phone should be included with the Sense UI. Other specs include a the now popular 1Ghz Snapdragon, 4.3″ AMOLED screen, built-in FM radio, Sprint WiMax, and ‘kickstand.’
The pics look similiar to the HTC HD2 rumored for T-Mobile that should be running Windows Mobile. As Kat Hannaford put it:
One of the first questions I asked HTC when I saw the HD2 was “will it come with Android?” Don’t get me wrong, I’m a WinMo user from way back, but with that 4.3-inch screen, it’s perfect for Google’s OS.
I would have to agree. The screen is mighty large and just itching for some Android to run under the skin. Thanks to EvilElmer for breaking the story.
