While the weekend seemed uneventful for some, the HTC Desire started receiving its Android 2.2 update via OTA this weekend. We received reports from many different locations who were prompted to get the Froyo update, so if you are using an “unlocked” HTC Desire and you haven’t received the update yet, you can expect it very soon. HTC’s Mark Moons tweeted the plans for the update last week and that HTC would start with the Desire and other HTC devices would soon follow.
