It looks like Mr. Blurrycam called in sick and a crystal clear image of the device has surfaced showing off Samsung’s multi-media player, the Samsung YP-MB2. This device looks just like the Samsung Galaxy S, but lacks voice-call capabilities and ditches the front-facing camera. You would think Samsung would change some of the physical features with this media device, but as you can tell they didn’t bother. The YP-MB2 will feature a camera and although the camera is only 3.2-MP, the fact that it has one at all works for us.
The device is set to be announced on August 11th at Samsung Consumer Electronics event and is supposedly coming in with three different internal memory options.
- 8GB
- 16GB
- 32GB
There hasn’t been any information regarding a possible stateside visit from this device, but keep an eye out around the 11th for more information regarding this media device.
